Jordan N. Soper, Psy.D.

Licensed Psychologist
Specializing in Evidence-Based Practices with Adults

Seeking out therapy can be intimidating or overwhelming, so take a deep breath and let's dive in together.
I am Dr. Jordan Soper, a licensed psychologist who works with adults experiencing mental health concerns. It is my goal to provide you with a safe and supportive environment to bravely confront and resolve the circumstances impacting your life. Together, we will develop the best possible strategy to address your specific needs. I offer therapy, assessment, and consultation services to individuals, couples, and families.
My practice emphasizes diversity, acceptance, and individualized treatment. My specialties include the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and sexual concerns. I have worked in a variety of settings and have specialized experience working with military service members, Veterans, and their families, the LGBTQA community, first responders & police officers, members of geek culture, the BDSM/Kink/Fetish community, and current & former sex workers.

I specialize in Evidence-Based Practices.  This means I use assessment and treatment methods that have been well researched, are based on science, and have been shown through clinical research to be effective.  These types of treatments are collaborative and involve active involvement of us both. I have a cognitive-behavioral theoretical orientation which means I believe behaviors and beliefs are directly related to presenting concerns. My role in therapy is to help you identify, challenge, and adjust unhelpful beliefs and behaviors. My approach focuses on YOU having an active voice in therapy. The treatment outcomes of this approach have been found to significantly decrease distress, improve overall functioning, and maintain gains for many years after treatment concludes.

I have an office in Henderson, NV and am currently accepting new clients. Additionally, I offer a 30% discount on all services to military service members and Veterans (both foreign and domestic). Therapy is an incredibly courageous decision to make and I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are seeking. Together, we will work towards giving you back your life, changing it for the better, and learning new skills that will help you for many years to come. Please tour my website for further information about me, my services, and general mental health resources. I look forward to working together!
